As part of the action plan for the construction sector, the Government of Quebec announced<\/a> the entry into force, as of today (April 26, 2021), of eight measures that will counter the effects of scarcity of Workforce :<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

MEASURE 1. Recognize the experience acquired outside of construction to integrate the industry
\n<\/strong>This measure is intended to allow the issuance of an apprentice competency certificate, under certain conditions, to any person who submits a relevant file for the recognition of professional experience.<\/p>\n

MEASURE 2. Allow work on site during studies
\n<\/strong>The main objective of this measure is to enhance vocational or technical training programs with apprenticeship acquired on site.<\/p>\n

MEASURE 3. Foster entrepreneurial succession
\n<\/strong>Each employer will be able to obtain two exemptions from the employer’s child competency certificate, instead of one.<\/p>\n

MEASURE 4. Facilitate the entry of graduates into certain specialized occupations
\n<\/strong>This measure will allow the issuance of an occupation competency certificate to graduates of the following programs without having to undergo the practice of access to the
CCGIC<\/a> course and the draw:<\/p>\n
