{"id":86666,"date":"2021-06-21T10:27:03","date_gmt":"2021-06-21T14:27:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/formationconstruction.com\/uncategorized\/2-4-on-site-sanitation-systems\/"},"modified":"2023-08-22T13:09:56","modified_gmt":"2023-08-22T18:09:56","slug":"2-4-on-site-sanitation-systems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/formationconstruction.com\/en\/rbq-licenses\/licenses\/2-4-on-site-sanitation-systems\/","title":{"rendered":"2.4 Private sewerage systems"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Subclass 2.4<\/h1>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">This subclass authorizes construction work which is not reserved exclusively for master pipe-mechanics and which concerns the treatment of waste water from buildings as well as similar or related construction work.<\/p>\n<h2>Additional explanations<\/h2>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">This subclass includes in particular construction work relating to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>septic tanks;<\/li>\n<li>to leaching fields;<\/li>\n<li>sinks;<\/li>\n<li>to purifying elements;<\/li>\n<li>peat or reed based biofiltration systems;<\/li>\n<li>conventional sand filters;<\/li>\n<li>to evacuation fields;<\/li>\n<li>polishing fields;<\/li>\n<li>dry-pit closets;<\/li>\n<li>tertiary treatment systems;<\/li>\n<li>at the pumping stations of the above systems;<\/li>\n<li>sanitation systems covered by the Technical Guide for wastewater treatment for isolated dwellings (even if the volume treated exceeds the limit of the regulation mentioned below).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The construction standards for on-site sanitation systems can be found in the Regulation respecting the evacuation and treatment of wastewater from isolated dwellings (LRQ, c. Q-2, r. 8) administered by the Minist\u00e8re du D\u00e9veloppement durable, de the Environment and the Fight against Climate Change.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">NB: Purification systems larger than those subject to the above regulation, in particular municipal equipment, fall under one or other of the following subclasses: 1.3 or 1.4.<\/p>\n<h2>NO LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR WORK:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>landscaping around a building, that is to say:\n<ul>\n<li>earthworks (modification of the terrain profile); :<\/li>\n<li>retaining walls in wood, stone or prefabricated blocks; :<\/li>\n<li>planting flowers, trees and shrubs; :<\/li>\n<li>sowing and laying of sod in rolls (peat); :<\/li>\n<li>swimming pools, basins, statues, fountains or outdoor water gardens which are not civil engineering works; :<\/li>\n<li>fences (when they are not specifically required by the purpose of the building or civil engineering work); :<\/li>\n<li>the irrigation of lawns, plants, shrubs (except when this work is part of a civil engineering work); :<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>emptying septic tanks, sumps, grease traps, oil interceptors, etc .; :<\/li>\n<li>maintenance of an on-site sanitation system: see article 3.3 of the regulation mentioned above: &#8220;The owner of a treatment system referred to in articles 11.1, 16.1, 87.7 or 87.13 must be bound at all times by contract with the manufacturer of the system, its representative or a qualified third party with the stipulation that a minimum annual maintenance of the system will be carried out. &#8220;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>Source:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rbq.gouv.qc.ca\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> www.rbq.gouv.qc.ca\/en<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"golicence-h2\">Examinations to take:<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"golicence-ul\">\n<li><a href=\"\/en\/course\/administration-and-management-rbq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Administration, Management and Management<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/en\/course\/construction-site-safety-management-rbq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Safety management on construction sites<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/en\/course\/project-and-site-management-rbq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Project and Site Management<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/en\/course\/carrying-out-of-construction-work-rbq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Execution of construction works &#8211; 2.4<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><i class=\"Defaults-rotate-left undo\"><\/i> <a href=\"\/determiner-la-licence-requise-rbq\/\">Make a new search<\/a><\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Subclass 2.4 This subclass authorizes construction work which is not reserved exclusively for master pipe-mechanics and which concerns the treatment of waste water from buildings as well as similar or related construction work.
