Subclass 3.2
This subclass authorizes construction work relating to concrete formwork for the foundations and foundation walls of buildings referred to in part 9 of the National Building Code – Canada 1995 (CNRC 38726F), as adopted by chapter I of the Construction Code, without regard to the exemptions provided for in section II of the Regulation respecting the application of the Building Act, and other concrete works, concreting, reinforcement and concrete finishing, as well as similar or related construction work.

This subclass is fully included in subclass 3.1.
This subclass includes in particular construction work relating to:
- concrete formwork for the courses and foundation walls of the buildings indicated;
- the concreting and reinforcement of sidewalks and concrete curbs;
- insulating concrete formwork;
- assembly and dismantling of false frames or temporary structures;
- the placement of concrete;
- reinforcement (steel reinforcement), cutting, shaping on the site, installation, assembly by various methods of rods or metal mesh;
- to the concrete finish;
- the application of hardeners and sealers, waterproofing products or other products of a similar nature to concrete floors and slabs;
- sprayed or injected concrete;
- waterproof concrete screeds;
- the injection of sealants or grouts (in walls and floors), for the repair of cracks;
- concrete patios adjacent to the building;
- concrete balconies;
- covering floors with epoxy cement;
- the repair-finish of the surface of a floor, a concrete slab or a sidewalk;
- stamped concrete or exposed aggregate work;
- work on the installation of self-leveling products;
- cutting and drilling bituminous concrete (asphalt), cement concrete, stone and rock;
- to any type of formwork stripping.
NB: The work of the concrete contractor does not include excavation work, the installation of drains, waterproofing of the foundations as well as connection work to the sewer and waterworks, etc.
NO LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR WORK:
- relating to concrete pumping.
